Page 86: The following sentence should appear as a standalone sentence after the second paragraph and before the example box:

“Appropriate national/international standards should be used when applying testing and calculation methods.”

Page 144: The following question has now been removed:

“Development of an emergency plan within a process environment should consider:

A             only the areas with the premises.
B             the premises and adjacent residential neighbourhoods.
C             the premises, neighbouring businesses, and local emergency services.
D             only the main production area.”

 

Page 91: Please note that the diagram that follows should be included after the wording about the Hertz unit of frequency:

The diagram shows how the amplitude of a current changes over time (Hertz is measured in cycles/seconds).

Page 50: The last bullet point in the bullet list under the “Consequences of failing to manage the integrity of assets” heading should read:
 
“ – corrosion can weaken pipe walls and tank bodies, leading to leaks of hazardous materials. It can also lead to catastrophic collapse or compromised structural integrity. Corrosion can occur in  various ways, such as corrosion under insulation.”
